PAULSON HOUSE DOCENTS
Here's a wonderful opportunity to acquaint visitors to
History San
Jose park with stories about Santa Clara Valley.
You'll enjoy sharing your own experiences and cherished memories,
such as, "cutting
'cots" and "picking prunes" when this truly was a
Valley of Heart's
Delight.
The Pioneer's Paulson House is an example of a Craftsman house
built
around the turn of the century when each house was unique and mostly
built by the father for his family.
Could you spare three hours every month or so to be a docent in
our
house?
Unless we have a Pioneer member in the house, it can't be open for
visitors and they miss a chance to hear and to see a part of
old-time
San Jose.
It's very rewarding to share experiences with young and old who
visit
the house.
We have visitors from all over the world.
