APRIL, 2008
Depending on interest, an April trip can be planned. Two possibilities
are:
American Heritage Tour (Trieloff Tours), April 5 for ten
days including Philadelphia, Valley Forge, Amish country, Longwood
Gardens, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Virginia: Monticello, Appomattox,
Richmond, Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.
Cost is $1899.00
OR
Southern Charm Tour (Collette Vacations), April 19 for
eight days including: Atlanta, Charleston, Boone Hall, Beaufort,
Savannah, Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island.
Cost is $1899. 00

JUNE 3 - 8, 2008
PORTLAND ROSE FESTIVAL (new offering)
(Talbot Tours) Portland Oregon, the "City of Roses"
has hosted its annual Rose Festival for almost 100 years featuring
a floral parade viewed from reserved indoor seats. Our city tour
of Portland includes Washington Park and its rose gardens, Hoyt
Arboretum, Pittock Mansion and Japanese gardens. Other activities
include: two nights in Newport with a Sea Life cruise of Newport
bay; a sand dune buggy ride and a visit to the Spruce Goose flying
boat moved from Long Beach. Cost is $1820 double occupancy or
$2320 single. This includes RT airfare, five night's hotels,
nine meals, taxes and gratuities. Optional trip insurance is
available. Deposit of $200 holds your reservation. Brochures

OCTOBER 13 24, 2008
MEXICAN RIVIERA CRUISE (new offering) (Golden Gate Tours) Norwegian
Cruise Line "Sun" will be cruising round trip from
San Francisco to the ports of Mazatlan, Acapulco, Zihuataneo,
Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas.. No flights! Bus transfer
to and from pier. Cost is $1030 inside, $1220 to $1330 ocean
view, and $1550 to $1575 balcony. The "Sun" accommodates
1936 passengers and features nine restaurants. A valid passport
is required. Deposit is $400. Since cancellations involve penalties,
optional cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. Brochures
