MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION RENEWING YOUR MEMBERSHIP? DO YOU WANT TO BECOME A MEMBER? Established June 22, 1875, the California Pioneers of Santa Clara County is one of California's two oldest Pioneer Societies. The purpose of our organization is to collect and preserve articles of local historic value of pioneer days of Santa Clara County. We receive donations and bequeaths to hold, and use the same as to best transmit to future generations a faithful and correct history of this past so as to maintain, as far a possible, a continuity of historic narrative for future generations.  Membership consists of residents (or descendants of residents) of California who have resided in this state for thirty-five (35) or more years. Exceptions are granted to those showing a profound interest in the History or Santa Clara County, California. Membership meets quarterly for lunch at 11:30 am on the first Saturday of every March, June, September and December. All membership includes subscription to The Trailblazer newsletter. Fees: New Member Processing Fee: $5.00 Annual Dues: $25.00 Life Membership: $250.00 A $30.00 payment must accompany the original application. Thereafter, dues are payable in January of each year.
